Celebrate with us the most awaited festival ”Oda a La muerte”.

Pan de muerto is one of the most emblematic traditions of Mexico that has passed from generation to generation. This dessert is a Mexican sweet bread typical of the Day of the Dead and is placed on altars to remember and honor all the deceased who returned to be with their families.

This year from October 26th to November 6th you can enjoy at  CAO our most awaited  “Oda a La Muerte’’ festival, with a unique and special recipe of Pan de Muerto in collaboration with Turin® and two seasonal cocktails in collaboration with Diageo.

The original recipe of the Pan de Muerto is made of wheat flour, milk, egg, yeast, sugar, salt, butter and commonly accompanied with a touch of orange, however, due to its great popularity the recipe has been modified over time to suit the taste of each person.

Our Pan de muerto is made with a soft brioche dough with orange zest and orange blossom essence, sprinkled with brown sugar, filled with a delicious hazelnut cream sauce and ice cream of your choice (Vanilla, Chocolate and Matcha), to give it a special touch it will be accompanied with crunchy colored wafers.

During these dates you can enjoy two delicious seasonal drinks to accompany our delicious Pan de Muerto, in collaboration with two exclusive Diageo brands: Don Julio® y J.W. Gold Label®.

RED DISDAIN: A refreshing drink based on  Don Julio 70® , Aperol, cranberry juice and lime juice.

KUXTAL’S LAMENT: A sweet drink based on J.W. GOLD LABEL® , maple syrup, peach liqueur and passion fruit pulp.

Enjoy the best pan de muertos and two exclusive cocktails of our Oda a La Muerte festival from October 26th to November 6th in the company of your loved ones and the best atmosphere in Puerto Cancun, book now!
